Once the ticket is created with 'Original Estimate' value entered during start of the sprint and if any changes made in between the sprint, can this be identified & listed separately. It helps to understand what causes the change in the plan.

Take into account weekends by team locale so metrics are artificially inflated by items that cross a weekend barrier
By EOD , it will be very useful to send the metric report to the enrolled mailid.

To improve organization and visual appeal in a larger dashboard, consider implementing color-coded widgets. Utilizing 3-4 standard colors instead of a white background can enhance clarity and structure.
We are looking to track defect slippage by environment. In order to do this, we will need a breakdown by "Environment" which is a field in our Jira tickets. We also need to see the x-axis for metrics like "Created Work" by sprints instead of by months.
We manage our team capacity in an excel spreadsheet. Our capacity effects our ability to deliver is there a way of pulling this through to plandek?
Add a text box where a target max WIP level can be entered which is then shown on the metric. As seen on the attachment, the black line would be shown when set to 6.
Similar to open PRs by created date. Be able to view unmerged branches while excluding certain names e.g. main, master & develop.
Would be useful to group/colour them by contributors.
We typically close off any straggler tickets from the previous sprint at sprint planning on the following Monday. Unfortunately this makes the sprint completion statistics look like they were delivered late. Is there a way to make this more forgiving?
As a team we have been trying to use Code Cycle Time metric to measure how long it takes for PRs to close; however, we find that these metrics vary from sprint to sprint quite heavily due to the fact that some PRs are open on Fridays and don't receive feedback until Monday for example. Also if a PR is opened in the morning vs near the end of the work day that also makes a difference. Is there any way that Plandek could account for Weekends and working hours?
Would it be possible to add a free text label/title to the widget preview to make it clear at a glance what it show. Use case is to have an overview with multiple copies of the same view with different filters
It may be helpful to add notes against abnormal metrics such as what went wrong and how what is being done to improve going forward
When breaking down charts by parent the charts show the parents ID from Azure DevOps. Whilst that is ok to a certain extent, it would be very good if maybe on hover it showed the parent name too, as currently you end up having to go into DevOps, search for the id, then look. Many clicks and typing just to gain some context of what the id represents.
Charts like first pass rate whilst you can breakdown by parent, it would be a good use case for us to be able to breakdown by parent type.
Metrices that direct performance indicators, such as cycle times, should allow users to set goals. For example, if a team follows a 2 week sprint, they should be able to allow a cycle time goal of 7 days.
Sub feature 1 - this should show up as dotted line on the cycle time chart, so that teams can easily see
Sub feature 2 - automatically alert teams when cycle time is about to breach
We often end up using same chart(metric) in more than one dashboard, if there was admin screen to build template metrics and call it in dashboard as needed , that would be a fantastic feature.
Hello,
Would be really nice if we could remove the holidays like (summer break, bank holidays, weekends) from the reports.
This would give us more accurate results.
Maybe we could have some fields where we could put the holidays periods in it or like when we do the date selection we could say exclude weekends?
many thanks,
Atena
Hello,
I'm using Plandek for our quarterly and monthly development reviews and it's doing a pretty good job.
Yet, I'm missing to add tables or pie charts as an own item on the dashboard in order to show total numbers of the month/quarter.
Some examples:
For these numbers, I'm not really interested in the distribution over time but more about the resulting value (and maybe how this value changed compared with the previous period). I know, that I can see that on the 'header' of each metric, but I'd love a table or even better, pivot table.
would be great to see this !
Kind regards :-)
In the velocity chart we have some things that are categorised as Unknown Sprint for whatever reason which always appears. If there was an option to filter out certain sprints, I could remove this sprint called Unknown but Sprint is not a filter option
In the Date Range in Date and granularity, we can currently only select Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc. It would be great to set this to 2 weekly (as we have 2 weekly sprints) as well as being able choose which day of the week to start the series from (e.g. do Tuesday to Tuesday)

It would be helpful to be able to measure the age of tickets in our backlog as an indicator of health
